In rural Bihar, students with sharp minds and deep curiosity are held back — not by their ability, but by the absence of practical learning infrastructure. They study science without ever touching a microscope. They learn about computers without ever switching one on.
Science taught only from textbooks — no experiments, no hands-on discovery.
Most students have never used a computer or accessed the internet for learning.
No access to robotics, coding, or modern technology tools.
Without practical tools, curiosity fades and potential goes unrealised.
The Composite Laboratory brings every essential element of modern, practical education under one roof — giving rural students the same quality of learning as the world's best schools.
Real experiments in physics, chemistry, and biology replace textbook memorisation.
Students learn to operate computers, type, and navigate digital tools.
Foundational programming and computational thinking for the digital age.
Visual, tactile tools make abstract mathematical concepts tangible.
Electronics, circuits, and robotics nurture inventive problem-solving.
Local educators gain modern teaching methods and lab management skills.
Students discover pathways in science, technology, and engineering.
Group experiments build teamwork, communication, and confidence.

Amay Ahuja
Year 10 · Jumeirah College, Dubai
Amay Ahuja is a Year 10 student at Jumeirah College, Dubai, UAE. He initiated Brightminds Laboratory to bridge the educational opportunity gap between privileged and underserved students — turning his awareness of global inequality into a concrete, measurable solution on the ground.
"Every child carries a bright mind. What changes everything is giving them the tools to use it. That's what Brightminds Laboratory is about."
2024
Amay Ahuja, a Year 10 student at Jumeirah College, Dubai, recognised the educational opportunity gap between privileged and underserved communities.
2025
Connected with KCS Foundation, India, to design and plan a Composite Laboratory in rural Bihar.
2026
The Composite Laboratory opened — equipped with computers, science apparatus, and innovation tools serving hundreds of students.
Implementation PartnerEmpowering Women & Girls — KCS Foundation leads ground implementation, community coordination, and long-term sustainability of the Brightminds Laboratory project in Bihar.
Visit KCS FoundationBrightminds Laboratory was founded by Amay Ahuja from Dubai. The on-ground implementation in Bihar is made possible through a deep collaboration with KCS Foundation, which brings local expertise, community trust, and operational infrastructure.
On-site coordination of laboratory setup and operations in Bihar.
Engaging local communities, families, and school leaders.
Building relationships with schools and education authorities.
